“ My husband and I are very happy with this new version of Alexander's. The manager Joe has been super cool and the food there is quite amazing. The service is really really good. ”
“ Nice steakhouse in Ormond Beach. Old school ambience in an old converted home! Sat at the bar and had great service, great drinks, and a fantastic filet! We will be back! ”
“ Another great meal . This is the second time we've been to this restaurant and the food did not disappoint. We started with a couple cocktails and enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress Casey did a great job. She was very friendly, attentive and offered great suggestions. I had a 1/2 chopped salad and scallops risotto which were awesome. My husband had the wedge salad and 10 ounce fillet, which was cooked perfectly. We loved our dinner and will definitely be back. ”
“ I recently attended a Holiday Celebration here and it couldn't have gone any better, the party was held upstairs in a private dining room, and staffed appropriately with friendly , attentive and professional employees. The downstairs bar created a host of delicious crafted cocktails and a selection of premium wines. Although there was a fixed menu there were options for everyone along with a nice varieties of Hors d'oeuvres, the entrées were made to order and featured a beautiful prime filet mignon, grilled salmon and chicken marsala with an abundance of sides and desserts. This restaurant was the perfect venue for this event and hopefully we'll enjoy more of their hospitality in the future. A few of us decided to have a few cocktails at the bar downstairs after the party ended and again the bar staff executed our drinks (dirty martinis) perfectly. This was my first time visiting Alexander's in Ormond Beach but definitely won't be the last, this definitely was a fine dining experience... ”
“ Great experience! Finally, a real steak house in the area. 10oz filet was cooked to perfection (medium rare). Katie at the bar was great. Met Joe, the owner. Very nice gentleman who filled me in on the history of the building. Highly recommended and I will definitely return. ”
“ Alexander's was absolutely Devine! From the atmosphere, cocktails, appetizers and entrees. Everything was perfectly paired and timed. Casey was our server this evening and she was phenomenal. My steak was cooked perfectly and the filet Parmesan did not disappoint. They provided us with an off menu dessert per our request. We can't wait to come back! I'm so happy Ormond has a remarkable steak house! ”
“ Saw this was a new local restaurant and decided to try it. Tables were all taken but I sat at the bar. The bartender on duty was super helpful and friendly. She was a very hard worker speeding around making all the drinks for the restaurant. Joe the owner was friendly as well and didn't hesitate to help out his staff. I ordered the Italian Job cocktail which was very good and their take on a manhattan. I got the Alexander burger with fries and they were great and cooked to perfection (medium rare) very juicy and flavor was heavy on the cheese and meat. I decided to try the limoncello which came in a shooter glass which I feel was overpriced, $10 for a shooter of limoncello that is $20 a bottle at total wine is a bit wild. I also got the Profiteroles which was caramel gelato with chocolate sauce and, not listed, donut holes. The combination was just fantastic. Overall I was very satisfied and would recommend to others and will be back to try other dishes. ”
“ Comfy, well-serviced bar with signature cocktails plus all the standards. I got a Smash and my husband started with an espresso-tin I. Then I moved on to the Ferri Carano Fume Blanc and he got the Italian Job. We were seated at a four top, just the two of us. The dining area was nicely appointed and although the shape was not traditional, it worked. We tasted the Rodney Strong Merlot, the Bonanza Cab, and the Quilt Cab. We got the Quilt and our server, Eric, talked us into a bottle. We started with the freshly baked bread. It comes with olive oil but Eric brought me butter upon my request. It was whipped butter with sea salt. I guess you could characterize the whole night this way, all the little details were attentively handled. (The table next to us didn't seem to have quite as much luck as their entrees got all mixed up but Eric fixed it.) For our appetizer we got the chopped salad, split. It was very good. I am such a chopped salad snob that I didn't like it being made with Spring Mix instead of Romaine but that's just me. I then got the 10 oz Filet and my other half got the filet medallions with red wine sauce and Gorgonzola. My steak came out black and blue as requested, with a most delightful char. His was regular rare as requested and he ate it all. It didn't say on the menu how many ounces of meat there. For sides we got the mixed mushrooms plus cipolline onions. I was worried that the onions would be whole but they had been taken apart into leaves and seared. The variety of mushrooms spared no expense. We also got the asparagus. I have a very picky thing about the asparagus. They did not shave the ends, nor did they make sure that the ends were tender, However, after cutting off the ends where needed, the asparagus was perfectly grilled and very fresh. We did not have room for dessert! We loved the casual feel of this place and the quality of the food. We did not think it over priced. ”
“ Very Quaint restaurant within a historical home with wood floors and eclectic style art. The service is on point and friendly. It's a nice little lace for special occasion/ date night. It was suggested to make a reservation between 5-8p cause it gets full for the seating area. They have bar area as well which is decorated some interesting decor. It's a steakhouse so expect to pay a bit on the high end for some items. ”
